Largest ever order for Citroen Berlingo Multispace

A UK NHS trust has placed the largest single order for Citroen Berlingo Multispaces after ordering 51 models.

The trust has opted to have 26 of the Multispace 2.0 HDi Fortes converted for wheelchair accessibility with the remaining fleet able to carry up to four passengers at a time.

Graham Cann, fleet manager at Warwickshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, said: 'The Berlingo Multispace offered a unique combination of competitive first cost, a very high degree of operational versatility and excellent levels of comfort and safety equipment.'

The fleet will be used to transfer patients across the Warwickshire area and will run on a three-year/90,000 mile contract through Reg Vardy lease agreements.
