Thrifty increases CV fleet by 500

THRIFTY Car Rental is embarking on a massive fleet push, with plans to expand its commercial vehicle fleet by 50% by the end of this year.

The group is aiming to increase its fleet by 500 vehicles to more than 1,500, focusing on the long wheel-based high-roof sector.

Fleet director John Ryan said: ‘All Dollar Thrifty Rental locations across the UK offer a wide range of commercial vehicles. The commercial vehicle rental market is highly competitive and these extra vehicles will complement our existing fleet range.’
