National Electric managing director Steve Kennedy, said: ‘Our Volkswagen vans have served us well. So when we needed to replace our fleet, it was Volkswagen’s latest models we wanted to look at.

‘What particularly impressed us with the Caddy,’ he added, ‘was the increased load capacity and side sliding door which allows flexible loading. For our current business requirements, the new model bridges the gap between the old style van and larger panel vans.’

Listers Coventry will be responsible for servicing the vans based in the Midlands, while other approved Volkswagen Van Centres will attend to the service and maintenance requirements of the rest of the fleet.
