VEHICLE transportation company Richard Lawson Autologistics has gone into administration.

The company is now under the supervision of PricewaterhouseCoopers but the announcement does not affect its Autocare UK Limited division, which is involved in the pre-delivery and inspection of cars, defleeting activities and the reconditioning and remarketing of used vehicles.

PricewaterhouseCoopers partner Bruce Cartwright said: ‘Despite internal restructuring, the company has experienced difficult trading conditions during a prolonged period in which the UK inland transportation market has remained weak.’
