Unichem deal

A CENTRALLY-managed fleet that needs to allow up to 30 employees based at 11 sites to access fleet information has invested in new technology to help it cope.

UniChem’s fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles is centrally managed from the company’s head office in Chessington. The company has signed a contract with RAC Software Solutions, choosing the firm’s Tranman fleet management software package.

UniChem’s central distribution manager, David Lunt, said: ‘It will provide our team with better access to information, improved reporting and analysis as well as the ability to compare costs across our businesses.’
