The vans will be used as mobile tyre workshops, servicing large commercial fleet accounts such as Tesco, Christian Salvesen and Roadways.

Each van will be fitted with a small electric compressor, enabling tyre pressures to be topped up. They will also be equipped with a light-bar which will increase visibility between trailers and make reading tyre tread-depth easier.

Mike Reeve, Hi-Q’s truck support manager, handled the selection process and said: 'I looked at the lifetime costs of the vans, their fuel efficiency and the ease of maintenance – they’ll save the company £28,000 a year compared to our current fleet.”
