Arval expands eastern presence

THE growing fleet market of Slovakia has prompted leasing company Arval PHH to open a subsidiary office in the country.

It is estimated that the country has a fleet of 80,000 vehicles, of which 7,000 units are funded through operational leasing.

Arval already has subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.

To help it achieve its expansion plans in central Europe, Arval has appointed Damien Pellissier as central Europe managing director. His previous roles include director of the French sales network and director in Poland.
