Toyota fleet heads for LA

A RECRUITMENT company has switched from Ford to Toyota following positive driver feedback and a sound running cost performance.

LA International, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has ordered 10 Toyota Avensis hatchbacks, with more to follow as other vehicles reach their replace-ment time, making a total of 35. The company had provided Ford Mondeos to sales consultants for more than nine years, but has decided to change to the Toyota Avensis 1.8 T2.

Scott Henry, managing director of LA International, said: ‘We looked at five other possible makes this time but Toyota came out on top with the Avensis.’
