NISSAN has produced a limited edition version of the 350Z in association with a new video game.

The 350Z GT4 coincides with the launch of the Gran Turismo 4 game for the Sony PlayStation 2 and comes with an upgraded engine and special equipment.

The 3.5-litre V6 engine has revised pistons and camshaft as well as electronic exhaust valve timing control, which means the GT4 develops 296bhp instead of 276bhp and at 6,400rpm instead of 6,200rpm. It gives the 350 a quicker 0-62mph sprint time of 5.8 seconds, although top speed is still limited to 155mph.

The UK has been allocated 176 units, all running on new lacquered five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, and 76 will be finished in Ultra Yellow ‘high-luminance, high-chroma pearl pigment’, with the remaining 100 in black.

Equipment reflects the 350Z with the GT pack. Each UK-supplied GT4 will have a numbered, interior-mounted plaque and in the boot owners will find a gift box from Nissan, containing a Sony PS2 and GT4 game.
