Network meeting

THE Government Fleet Managers’ Network met recently at the Adult Learning Inspectorate in Coventry.

Attendees included representatives from the Vehicle Operator and Services Agency, Highways Agency, Environment Agency, Inland Revenue and Government Car and Despatch Service. Speakers included John Lewis, director general of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, on wear and tear policies, and Inspector Rob Calvert, of Warwickshire Police, who outlined how fleets would be viewed in the event of a serious road accident.
