ROYAL Mail has announced details of a major roadside repair and recovery contract for its fleet of more than 30,000 vehicles following a competitive tender process.

The company has awarded the contract to FMG Support, whose staff can now access details of any Royal Mail vehicle so they can choose the most cost-effective repairer for the job.

The agreement will be managed by FMG Support Roadside Repair & Recovery, formerly Delta Rescue, and will focus on reducing vehicle of-road time and costs.
