A MAJOR revamp at telecoms giant T-Mobile has seen it replace its entire fleet of light commercial vehicles.

The company is taking on 200 Ford Ranger Double-Cab 4x4 models – giving the manufacturer one of its biggest ever European fleet deals involving the vehicle.

It placed the contract after a 12-month review during which the company’s field technicians took part in a series of open survey consultations.

Ford’s director of fleet operations, Kevin Griffin, said: ‘This is a very important contract for Ford Fleet. It’s gratifying that the Ranger Double-Cab should emerge as the vehicle of choice after such a comprehensive review as T-Mobile has undertaken.’
