Spring arrival

VOLVO’S sleek C70 coupe-convertible will cost from £26,200 when it goes on sale next spring.

With a retracting metal roof which can turn the car from coupe to convertible in less than 30 seconds, the C70 effectively provides two cars in one.

Two petrol engines are available – a 170bhp 2.4-litre five-cylinder and a 220bhp T5 turbocharged version. A 180bhp diesel will follow later next year. Available in Sport, SE and SE Lux trim levels, prices rise to £33,225.
