FLEETS should ensure they have a proper policy to manage drink and drug driving by employees.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has issued new guidelines stressing the importance of such issues, especially with the arrival of extended licensing laws and the anticipated excesses of the festive period.

RoSPA says all businesses employing people who drive for work must address the issue as part of their duties under health and safety law.
