Settle, 48, joins Lexus GB from Toyota Motor Marketing Europe (TMME) and will have overall responsibility for all Lexus operations in Great Britain.

Following a period with Fiat UK, Settle joined Toyota GB in 1979. He has been working at the European head office for the past seven years, most recently director of the Customer Services Group.

Settle succeeds Karl Schlicht, who moves into the role of vice-president, Lexus and Corporate Planning at TMME in Brussels.
