Web auctions to meet retailers’ demands

WEEKLY electronic auctions are to be held by Inchcape Automotive Remarketing Management to meet demand from used car retailers.

The sales will feature a range of ex fleet cars of mixed age and mileage and will be launched in March.

Already, two trial sales held in January have proved the demand for quality used cars from dealers. Dealers will view stock from a variety of sources by logging onto www.letsbid4cars.co.uk. Major clients that already dispose of cars through the firm include Alfa Romeo, Alphabet (GB), Bank of Scotland Vehicle Finance, Fiat, Inchcape Fleet Solutions, Mazda and MG Rover.
