The company will collect cars from the leasing customer and deliver them to one of two logistics centres where they will be inspected, prepared and refurbished to retail standard. They will then be photographed and remarketed through LeasePlan's CarNext Direct website, which BCA operates.
LeasePlan Sweden managing director Arne Persson said: 'We expect to see cost savings and efficiencies for our leasing customer as well as internally. Our Danish colleagues use the branded remarketing setup as a selling point, and regular invite fleet customers to BCA's remarketing centre for a demonstration.'
Initially, the BCA site will focus on logistics, refurbishment, inspections, inventory management and electronic sales with physical auctions being held in the future.
