Safety directory available

THE Fleet Safety Forum, a division of Brake the road safety charity, has produced a comprehensive free directory of leading suppliers and service providers to the fleet industry.

The Fleet Safety Forum Directory 2005 is designed to help managers source suppliers who can help ensure that vehicles driven on behalf of their company are used appropriately, driven safely and are mechanically fit.

Listings in the directory include the following categories:

  • associations
  • driver training companies
  • risk management Companies
  • driver Safety Devices
  • vehicle Safety Devices
  • insurance Companies

    Mary Williams OBE, chief executive of Brake said: 'One in three deaths each year on UK roads involves vehicles being driven for work purposes. It is imperative that companies effectively manage occupational road risk. This can be achieved by enlisting the help of leading companies and organisations and providers that work to make our roads safer.'
