Maxus deal

A VEHICLE rental firm has ordered 140 new LDV Maxus panel vans, making it the first big fleet deal for the new model.

The deal, worth more than £2 million at showroom prices, will boost Global Self Drive’s 1,000-strong fleet.

Chris Webb, a director at Global Self Drive, said: ‘We are pleased to offer this quality new product on our fleet and we are confident our customers will see the improvements in the LDV product range over and above its competitors.’

The Maxus was launched in January and comes in two wheelbases and three roof heights.
