Swiss expansion for rental firm

DAILY rental company National Car Rental has opened its fourth location in Switzerland. Its new offices in Lausanne are in addition to one site in Geneva and two in Zurich.

This month will see the opening of its fifth location in Fribourg/Dudingen.

National now has a fleet of more than 700 vehicles in Switzerland, providing customers with a wide range of models to choose from, backed up by delivery and collection services.

Neil Summerville, franchising vice-president for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at National, said: 'The opening of Lausanne, and shortly the location in Fribourg, is demonstration of our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers, both locally and those operating on a pan-European basis.'
