Partnership opts for online fleet system

ONE of the UK’s best-known retailers is aiming for better control and operational efficiencies for its fleet after choosing an online fleet management system.

The John Lewis Partnership is using the Drive:Manager system from the LeaseDrive Group to support its back office fleet management function for its 1,000-strong vehicle fleet.

Fleet manager Chris Miles said: ‘I am sure Drive:Manager will prove an indispensable and vital tool for us in significantly improving the control and operational efficiencies of our vehicle fleet.”

Leasedrive Group commercial director Roddy Graham said: ‘This represents a first for us. Following a multi-million pound investment over the last 18 months, we have decided to license out to selected outside customers what we believe to be the very best leading-edge quality business solutions in the fleet industry.

‘Effectively, we are providing the John Lewis Partnership with the ultimate desktop tool to support its back office fleet management function.’
