VW vans spark the interest of fire firm

FIRE and security protection services company UK Fire has taken on a new fleet of Volkswagens.

It has taken on 19 Caddy vans and 18 Transporters, which all have a distinctive flame graphic on the front and over the wheel arches.

Fire extinguisher service engineers will use the new Volkswagen Transporters and electrical engineers, who install and service fire alarm systems and detection equipment, will operate from the Caddy vans.

Managing director David Gunby said: ‘We were looking to standardise our entire fleet and wanted reliable, attractive, quality vehicles that reflected our brand. The Volkswagen Caddy and Transporter met these criteria and also look great with the flame graphics.’
