NON-FAULT accident management assistance company Helphire has doubled its pre-tax profits.

The company has announced a pre-tax profit, before amortisation and exceptionals, of £14.8 million, a 100% increase, for the year to March 31, 2005. Part of its growth is credited to the acquisition of uninsured loss recovery company Albany.

Chairman Michael Symons said: ‘This has been another excellent year for Helphire, with continued growth in demand for our services.

‘Growth in turnover of 57% has resulted from a greater level of referrals, the addition of new key accounts and the acquisition of Albany.’
