Hitachi beefs up its corporate team

HITACHI Capital Vehicle Solutions has plans to expand its 45,000-strong vehicle fleet following the appointment of two new corporate managers and a sales controller.

Phil Elms has joined as major corporate new business manager and John Couppleditch as corporate business development manager in the group’s new business development team.

The two new recruits will develop sales across both the vehicle and commercial fleet product range.

Elms will deal with national companies with fleets in excess of 650 vehicles and Couppleditch will focus on the eastern home counties region with medium size companies with fleets in excess of 125 vehicles.

Sam Williams has also joined as direct driver sales controller responsible for increasing awareness of driver sales across the group’s customer base. She will liaise with both fleet managers and drivers.
