AUDI and Mazda have announced management changes in the UK.

Jeremy Hicks has been appointed the new director of Audi UK, taking over on August 1 from Kevin Rose, who had held the position since 1999.

Hicks has been with Volkswagen Group UK for almost six years. He brings with him experience from key industry roles, including 14 years with GM and time with the Quadrangle consultancy.

Kevin Rose has been appointed to a new senior Volkswagen role at the group’s worldwide headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany.

Allan Rushforth will succeed Jeremy Hicks as head of group services within Volkswagen Group UK. Rushforth has 18 years’ motor industry experience and moved to Audi in 1999 from his role as sales director at Land Rover UK.

Mazda Motor Europe has announced that Philip Waring has been appointed vice-president of sales, moving from his present position as managing director of Mazda Motors UK. Waring has been at Mazda since 2001 after management positions at Ford. He replaces James Muir, who became president and CEO of Mazda Europe in April.

Rob Lindley, sales director at Mazda UK, will take over as managing director.
