THE first production version of Roush Technology’s all-new all-terrain load-carrier made an appropriately rain-lashed debut at DVD 05.
The Lightweight High-Mobility Platform developed by the powertrain specialist responsible for adding some oomph to the new Ford GT, features fully independent front suspension and an ultra light honeycomb aluminium chassis.
Full-time 6x6 all-wheel drive is delivered via a PSA 1.9-litre naturally aspirated diesel engine with automatic transmission and torque converter.
Kerbweight is 805kg and payload more than 900kg – which it transported successfully through the ooze at Millbrook’s challenging off-road course.
