Faster recovery

FLEET drivers left stranded at the roadside due to their vehicle breaking down could be located more quickly following an order for hundreds of navigation CDs from the AA.

The roadside recovery giant will use 3,000 CDs featuring the latest road data from Tele Atlas in its patrol fleet. AA communications support manager Robin Commander said: ‘Patrols can find customers without stopping to look at maps and as a result reach them faster.’
