Kwik-Fit finds pressing new business

NEWSPAPER group Johnston Press is aiming for financial savings by supplying hundreds of Kwik-Fit Business Drive Cards to its company car drivers.

The company has chosen the gold card which will entitle them to discounts on tyres, exhausts, windscreen repair and replacement, vehicle breakdown and car hire.

Each Johnston Press division is responsible for its own budgets and Johnston Press fleet manager Joe Cummings will now receive a quarterly statement to see what the overall spend is.

Cummings said: ‘Following a review we decided to introduce a business card that would give increased control and enable Johnston Press to achieve financial savings as a consequence of the overall size of the company and the buying power of Kwik-Fit Fleet.’
