The firm selected Cybit’s Fleetstar-Online for real-time monitoring of its vehicles to try and provide a more efficient and productive delivery service. It hopes keeping a constant eye on vehicles will highlight areas for improvement, as well as monitoring drivers’ speed, mileage and driving times.
Director Gary Nunn said: ‘At Haymills we strive for continuous improvement, based on a systematic analysis of the weaknesses and strengths of our processes. That is why we decided to investigate the viability of deploying telematics into our delivery fleet.’
‘Cybit has already allowed us to make early gains in the three months since its initial implementation. This includes making better use of our workforce, with the knock-on effect of providing our clients with faster service delivery.
