Schrempp to go

THE head of DaimlerChrysler, Jurgen Schrempp, has announced he will step down early as chairman of the board at the end of the year.

Dieter Zetsche, currently the head of Chrysler, will take his place. The new Chrysler head will be Tom LaSorda, the group’s chief operating officer.
