FORMULA One and fleet joined forces for the day when Honda held a series of flying visits to some of Britain’s biggest companies.

BAR Honda Formula One driver Jenson Button joined television personality Vicky Butler-Henderson and Stephen Hollings, head of corporate sales at Honda, for the fleet meet and greet.

The team, which also included BAR Honda marketing manager Robert Watherston and Fleet News' editor John Maslen, started in London and flew by helicopter to visit Lex Vehicle Leasing in Manchester, then on to BT Fleet in Birmingham, National Grid in Warwick and the AA at Farnborough.

At each venue, Button signed autographs, gave away prizes and answered questions from employees. At Lex Vehicle Leasing, he also launched a new StaffSelect car scheme for employees, while at the AA, he was part of celebrations to mark the breakdown firm renewing its supply of services to Honda.
