AUDI’S A4 Cabriolet is the latest model to receive the firm’s new corporate front-end treatment, with a deep grille extending down below the bumper line.

Making its debut at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the model also features subtly revised rear lights and bumper and new alloy wheel designs.

There are also three new engines: a 2.0 T FSI with 197bhp, a 3.2 V6 FSI with 252bhp and a 230bhp 3.0 TDI V6. The 1.8 T with 161bhp carries over from the old model. Other changes include revised suspension for better ride comfort, bigger brakes and the option of an acoustic hood which, Audi claims, reduces cabin noise to the same level as the A4 saloon.

The revised Cabriolet goes on sale in November, and prices will be announced nearer to that date.
