Fleet savings plan for housing groups

MEMBERS of housing organisation Procurement for Housing (PfH) are being offered up to 30% savings with its new fleet management and leasing service.

PfH estimates that the sector spends an annual £75 million on vehicles and hopes the new management service, provided by Automotive Leasing and Bank of Scotland Vehicle Finance (BoSVF), will bring cost savings for several housing organisations.

Lesley Slater, director of Automotive Leasing, said: ‘We have supplied individual housing associations for several years but this framework agreement will bring a consistent and cost-effective approach to their vehicle procurement. This contract will give those organisations access to economies of scale.’
