LIGHT commercial vehicle producer Società Europea Veicoli Leggeri (Sevel), a joint venture between Fiat Auto and PSA, has produced its three millionth vehicle at its Italian plant.
Said by the companies to be the biggest of its kind in Europe, the plant started production of 350 vehicles a day in 1981 and this has now grown to 900 units a day. Beside the Ducato, vehicles produced at the site include two similar models for the PSA group.
