Council choice

LIVERPOOL City Council has added three Toyota Aygo city cars to its pool fleet, claiming low emissions form part of its strategy to manage local air quality.

They are supplied on a three-year contract hire agreement with Arnold Clark. Janine Doran, fleet services officer for the council, said: ‘We chose the Aygos after demonstrating a number of city cars. The Aygo is a perfect pool car for various officers in the council and was competitively priced. The low CO2 and NOx emissions were the most contributing factor when we chose it.’
