£2 million supply deal for TLS Vehicle Rental

A SOLE supplier deal with support and construction services company May Gurney has been won by TLS Vehicle Rental.

The deal, covering vehicles from cars to 7.5 tonne trucks across the UK, is May Gurney’s first-ever sole supply deal for vehicle rental, and came about after it acquired existing TLS customer T.J Brent last year.

This lead to a programme of supplier consolidation, with May Gurney opening vehicle rental out to tender and choosing TLS this month. The company also has a similar arrangement with fellow GE-owned company, GE Plant Hire.

The new agreement is open-ended and is expected to be worth around £2 million every year to TLS. The account is managed internally by a TLS strategic account executive providing dedicated vehicle hire, billings and operations services.
