One way to beat jams

COULD this be the answer to tackling congestion on the roads?

Fleet managers interested in purchasing this vehicle, called an Amphicar, should get themselves down to Brooklands Museum, a few minutes from junction 10 of the M25, where remarketing company BCA is auctioning the car in its classic and historic sale today (October 5).

The rare German car from 1962, which is the most successful non-military amphibious vehicle to be put into production on a commercial basis, is expected to fetch about £10,000.
