FN50: Fines under microscope

AN EXAMINATION of the millions of pounds drivers incur in fines is included in this year’s FN50.

According to exclusive research for the FN50, the total cost of penalty charges incurred by their customers’ drivers is more than £11 million a year with an additional £4.5 million added to fleet running costs by drivers incurring fines for non-payment of the London congestion charge. In addition, many leasing companies have to impose an additional charge to cover the burden of administration related to dealing with the charges.

This year’s FN50 also includes a list of the most reliable cars and vans operated by Britain’s fleets, an examination of residual value confidence and a survey of customer service issues facing leasing companies.
