AA ignore sale speculation

THE AA has declined to comment on mounting speculation it will sell or float the breakdown business on the London Stock Market.

According to the Financial Mail on Sunday, which did not name sources, the AA has hired PriceWaterhouseCoopers to field potential buyers and access its recourses.

Analysts expect the AA to be sold to for £3 billion. Another private equity group or an insurance company are considered to be the most likely buyers.
