SERVICE provider ClientLogic is switching from a cash allowance for middle to senior managers into company cars under a new contract hire arrangement with Tuskerdirect, following a review of company benefits.

ClientLogic operates in 13 countries providing a variety of outsourced services to major corporate clients, and operates customer care facilities in Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter, Watford, Derby, Newcastle and Dundee.

Previously, it had provided managers with cash allowances to fund their own vehicles, but following a benefits review and concerns about duty of care the company has now decided to introduce a contract hire scheme for directors, senior and middle managers.

It is introducing a user-chooser policy with a virtually free choice of vehicle, with Tuskerdirect funding and sourcing potentially up to 100 vehicles through its award-winning and highly acclaimed online fleet management system, Fleetdesk 3.

The move has been led by Albert de Beer, facilities manager EMEA, who said: ‘Tuskerdirect’s Fleetdesk3 system will allow our user-choosers to select, compare specifications and order cars online which is a major advantage.’

Tuskerdirect is providing a number of additional fleet services to ClientLogic, including offering advice on fleet policy and providing a thorough review of the company’s health and safety policy.

At the same time, Tuskerdirect is offering a short term hire facility as well as reviewing the accident management policy on ClientLogic’s behalf.
