LEASEDRIVE Group has won one of its biggest contract hire and fleet management accounts – with consultancy Capgemini.

The sole-supply contract covers around 1,000 UK company car drivers with the potential to rise to 4,500.

Leasedrive commercial director Roddy Graham said: 'We were one of 10 companies originally invited to tender and proved strong contenders throughout the whole process.

'Capgemini was particularly impressed with our systems and people. Our on-going investment in Drive:Manager, our bespoke, online, totally-integrated fleet management system, continues to reap dividends. It remains the industry benchmark and its flexibility and impressive technical features are major deciding factors in winning new business.

'Capgemini is also considering Carbon:Manager, our latest service allowing company car drivers the opportunity to offset their CO2 emissions to become CarbonNeutral drivers.'

Ann Brown, HR director at Capgemini, said: 'We have 4,500 employees who are eligible for a company car as part of their flexible benefits package. Currently, around 1,000 take advantage of the scheme and we are looking to Leasedrive to reinvigorate the company car offer to encourage wider take-up.'
