DESPITE involving a handover of just 14 vehicles, it is a fleet deal worth more than £3 million.

The order for 14 new Rolls-Royce Phantoms has come from the Peninsula Hong Kong, part of the luxury Peninsula Hotels group.

Each car was hand-made at the Rolls-Royce factory in Goodwood and built under the manufacturer’s Bespoke programme to meet the exact needs of the hotel.

Rolls-Royce chairman, Ian Robertson, said: ‘It is the flexibility and dedication of the team at Goodwood that has helped fulfil this very special order.

‘Rolls-Royce and Peninsula have enjoyed an outstanding and fruitful relationship since the 1970s and we are keen for this to continue for many years to come.’

The car’s retail price is almost £220,000.
