Spy shot: X5 + curves = X6

HERE is the proof that BMW is working on a sporty X5 derivative – the heavily-clad X5 mule seen here will become the X6.

Based on the X5 chassis and engines, there’ll only be room for two rows of seats, and the cabin will be snug – unlike the new X5’s spacious seven-seat interior.

Expect to pay about £40,000 for the X6 when sales begin around spring 2008.
