Charity cheque

STAFF at contract hire and leasing firm Custom Fleet have raised £1,126 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, following a series of fund-raising raffles.

Managing director Tony Haslam presented a cheque to the charity, which operates two air ambulances covering an area of more than 10,000 square miles in the north of the country and exists solely on charitable donations.

The Custom Fleet donation will go to help the running of the ‘Pride of Cumbria’ air ambulance, which covers the Cumbria region five days a week.
