THE latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • HONDA UK has made Jeff Dodds head of marketing. Dodds will take up his post from April, moving from his current role as head of marketing for Honda’s Power Equipment business. He also has previous Honda experience in regional sales operations. Dodds joined Honda from Volvo in August 2002.

  • VANGUARD Rental, the parent company of National, Alamo and Guy Salmon Prestige Rental, has appointed Adele Rosie as corporate marketing manager. Rosie will be responsible for finding new business and product opportunities while maximising sales. She brings fleet industry experience, having spent three years as brand manager at LeasePlan UK.

  • Bill Bosley, currently managing director at Nissan Motor (GB), will succeed Brad Bradshaw as vice-president, general manager, Nissan Division in North America and will be responsible for sales, marketing, and administration activities.

  • RYLAND Unity Vehicle Solutions, the contract hire arm of the Ryland Group, has appointed four new members to its team.

    Duncan Howell and Dennise White both join from Arval PHH. Howell, a senior sales consultant, will be in charge of the north-east of England and Scotland. White takes up a position in sales support, helping the direct sales team and liaising with clients.

    Also arriving is Terry Ward, who will be covering the south and south-west of England. Ward joined the company from Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions. The final recruit to the sales team is Laurie Berrecloth, who joined the team in January. Berrecloth will be covering the south and south-east region and joins Ryland Unity after years of experience in the industry with companies including Leasedrive.
