Inchcape men on the move
INCHCAPE Toyota has made three new appointments. Des Graham becomes franchise director for the nine Toyota dealerships. He joined Inchcape in 2004 and has performed similar roles for other high volume dealers.
David Walker becomes general manager for Toyota Burton. He has been with the company since 1981 and recently oversaw the integration of Nottingham Mercedes into Inchcape.
Finally, Kelson Campbell takes over management of Toyota West Bridgford. He arrived at Inchcape last year and will continue to oversee Toyota and Lexus Nottingham.
His job involves building a new business sales team following a restructure to make it more ‘customer-centric’. Pointer has more than 17 years’ experience in sales management, most recently as field sales director at Trafficmaster. He also spent five years at Lloyds TSB autolease in various management roles, including head of regional business development.
Lawrence, who is NEBOSH qualified (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health), will be responsible for ensuring all MVRA-registered repairers become, and remain, fully health and safety compliant.
His NEBOSH qualification aside, Lawrence worked as an auto electrician in both bodyshops and mechanical repair shops across the south east. Prior to joining the MVRA, Lawrence worked as the personnel, environment, health and safety manager for Ambrosetti UK, a large de-fleeting centre in Kent.
McDonnell joins from global commercial insurance specialist ACE Europe, where he spent five years. His experience also includes 12 years with Lex Vehicle Leasing and Lex Service Group.
