THE director of an Oldham business has an experience of a lifetime at his fingertips, thanks to CompanyCarDriver.co.uk.

Garth Murphy, who runs a fleet of 300 cars for engineering insurance firm HSB Haughton, was the winner of the website’s £500 Red Letter Days competition voucher.

CompanyCarDriver editor Jeremy Bennett presented the voucher to Murphy at his offices. Murphy said: ‘I’m one of those people that is convinced they never win anything. I’m pleased to be proved wrong at last.’

He hasn’t yet decided what to spend the voucher on but the choice of Red Letter Days experiences includes a flight in a World War II fighter, a weekend in a teepee or a journey on the Orient Express.

Murphy won the voucher by recommending more of his drivers to use CompanyCarDriver than any other fleet manager.

‘Tens of thousands’ of drivers are already using this contraption. Should they be issued as standard in all company cars?
