TOOL hire company Speedy Hire will leave 1,600 cars and vans from Lex Vehicle Leasing over the next two years.

The move follows previous contracts between the two companies, culminating in Lex being appointed sole supplier last year.

Of the 1,600 vehicles, 1,000 will be Ford vans supplied on a 30-month deal, while 600 mainly Ford cars will remain on fleet for 36 months.

All will be supplied on a non-maintenance contract hire basis. The deal also includes fleet management and daily rental.
