£3m GM storage

AUTOMOTIVE logistics firm Walon UK has opened a new £3 million storage and refurbishment centre in Corby, Northants, for General Motors.

The 35-acre facility will process about 40,000 vehicles a year and create 100 new jobs. It can store up to 6,000 ex-fleet vehicles from Vauxhall, Saab and Chevrolet, and houses workshop areas and seven paint booths.
