Bend it (round corners) like Beckham

A BMW once owned by football star and fashion 'icon' David Beckham has gone on sale on Ebay.

The 3.2-litre 1996 M Series Evolution convertible went on the online auction site on Saturday with a starting bid of £1. With the sale ending this Saturday the current bid is £9,000.

The car is described as the first 'luxury' motor Beckham bought when he joined Manchester United as number 10.

The numberplate is P10 DRB - but this is not a personalised plate, the seller says.

The sales patter from seller AutoQuake, continues: 'It's also the car he owned when he first got a bit friendly with a Spice girl whose not really known for her singing talent. This car may have seen some rather raunchy celebrity events within, and no doubt chauffeured around some of Mr Beckham's closest celebrity friends, though I can assure you that the beautiful grey leather seats are still fit for many more to enjoy (maybe not with Posh though!) This car also featured in the literary masterpiece that is Victoria's Secrets, as pictured below, and in a few other Beckham publications. A book that's often been compared to the works of Tolstoy and Kafka.'
